“When we first came to Dr. Glassner in 2013, we were at the end of our rope. After losing four pregnancies, we felt we would never get to be parents. But after one round of IVF with Dr. Glassner, I was pregnant and we welcomed our baby girl in May 2014. I thought we had finally figured out the magic formula and that having our second child would be a breeze. I was wrong. After a fluke, natural ectopic pregnancy in January 2015, I went through four more rounds of IVF, one frozen embryo transfer and one IUI. The first round of IVF ended in a chemical pregnancy, the next three failed, the FET failed, and the IUI resulted in yet another ectopic pregnancy. It was determined that my egg quality had rapidly declined in the two short years since I had conceived my daughter, the ectopics were unexplainable and things looked bleak. We could have quit and there were days when I seriously considered it. But we persevered. To say that Dr. Glassner was supportive would be an understatement. I really felt that his heart broke with ours with each failure. He listened to us and our frustrations, spent time after hours on the phone with us answering questions and offering support and never once let us feel that we couldnt be successful again. Before moving on to other options, we decided to give IVF one more try in July, and we were finally successful. Im currently in my second trimester and due in the spring. Some days, it doesnt feel real after everything we went through, but I am so glad we persevered and didnt give up hope. “November is the month of thankfulness. With only two days to go before Thanksgiving I am sitting here watching my six-month-old sound asleep, a sight that I wasn’t sure I would ever see a little over a year ago. This holiday season I am beyond grateful for my blessings and Mainline Fertility truly made one of my life’s greatest blessings possible. When we started trying to get pregnant three years ago, we never imagined the road that we would have to take to make our dream of a family come true. Even when we had to have some hard talks with Dr. Glassner and Rachel about our journey they were always patient, compassion! ate, and most importantly positive. They respected us, and we respected them and we truly felt like every step in our process was a team effort. We found out on August 17, 2015 that we were expecting our miracle baby after a conversion cycle from IVF to IUI. Never a million years did we think this would work since this was our ninth IUI, so when we received the phone call from the nurse saying that we had a positive pregnancy test we were in disbelief. Honestly, it took us several appointments before we could believe that this was reality. The day that we were dismissed from Dr. Glassner was a day full of emotions and gratefulness that we couldn’t even begin to explain. Our miracle baby was born on May 4, 2016 and I truly look at him each day and thank God for him. “I cannot speak highly enough of Dr Glassner, Rachel his PA, and all the nursing and staff. As a physician assistant myself, I was beyond impressed with the care both clinically and emotionally that this office provides to its patients. My husband and I had issues trying for over a year when we saw Dr. Glassner. He was very positive we had a small problem that just needed some fine tuning. “My son will soon turn one!!! And this miracle baby of mine is only due to Dr. Michael Glassner and his wonderful team at MLF. After trying for almost 3.5 years, we finally resorted to MLF. After some check ups, we found out that I had severe endometriosis. Dr. Glassner had mentioned that IVF would be my best resort but never pushed us for that. We tried everything – 2/3 cycles of Clomid, 3 IUIs.. Finally we decided to do injectables and IVF. First two times, my body didn’t respond well to the meds. The third time, my body responded well and we could finally reach to the stage of egg retrieval. However, my body wasn’t ready for ET yet, hence doctor suggested us to do frozen transfer. After waiting for a month and half, we were all ready for FET.. We were debating between deciding the number of embryos to be transferred -1, 2 or 3.. “As I sit here writing these words, I am looking at my beautiful son who was conceived through an amazing journey at Mainline Fertility under the care of Dr. Orris. I came to Dr. Orris in August of 2014, having suffered 4 consecutive miscarriages with no answers from my OBGYN. “After almost a year of trying to conceive, my husband and I decided it was time for us to get some help. Mainline Fertility came highly recommended from my regular OBGYN, who mentioned to me that almost half of their patients became parents with help by Mainline Fertility. “There was always a part of me deep down that thought I may have trouble conceiving. “Main line fertility was a very warm and inviting place. My husband and I tried to get pregnant for almost a year with no luck. Dr. Brasile assured us she would do her best to get us pregnant and almost guaranteed a pregnancy. I was diagnosed with PCOS and my husband’s count and motility were very low. We tried 3 rounds of IUI with no luck. Dr. Brasile recommended my husband get a surgery that would possibly help his count and motility. 6 weeks after his surgery they tested him and his numbers had tripled! Here is my story…At age 36, through intercourse, I got pregnant and had a healthy baby. Then from ages 38 through 41, I had secondary infertility. My dreams turned into a reality when I went to see Dr. Orris. Dr. Orris analyzed my situation thoroughly and took the necessary time and reviewed my thick pile of paperwork/history I brought to him. My sixth IVF (first time with Dr. Orris) resulted into healthy baby. NEVER let the odds deter you from doing what you know in your heart you should do. All I can say is he is highly recommended!! Thankfully we were fortunate enough to be put in contact with Dr. Glassner by a family member and from the moment of our first phone call we received the absolute highest level of care, comfort, and support during such a challenging time. We first met with Dr. Glassner on July 3, 2013. We travelled back and forth from VT to PA for two months for ultrasounds, retrieval, implantation, and confirmation. We were pregnant by mid-August after our first round of IVF with ICSI and PGD and our healthy baby boy was born April 29, 2014 – 6lb 6oz and 19.5″. Words can’t express the gratitude we have for Dr. Glassner and the staff at MLF for giving us our miracle baby and for making the entire process a positive one. “I have been meaning to write one of these for a long time, but every time I sit down to do it, I don’t know where to start. “My husband and I first came to meet with Dr. Glassner in June of 2011 after one year of having trouble conceiving. I was extremely nervous and did not know what to expect. The second I met with Dr. Glassner and all the nurses I knew I had no reason to be nervous. ” I can’t thank Dr. Glassner enough for the gift of our son. After going to another doctor at a reputable fertility practice and having four failed IUIs and
three failed IVF cycles, I finally decided that a second opinion was worth a shot. I was not willing to give up our pursuit of parenthood. My husband and I were in the “unexplained” category — the other practice could never figure out why all our attempts had failed. “Our fertility journey never seems to reach a final destination point! After 10 long years of trying naturally and with the help of fertility treatment and medication and not one single pregnancy we were beginning to doubt if we would ever achieve a pregnancy. Thankfully, then we met Dr Glassner at Mainline Fertility, after an initial consultation and reviewing our history closely he made us feel that we still had a chance and he could help us. My hubby and I both liked his approach, he doesn’t waste any time and gets down to the point, without pressuring you as a couple. He helps you stay focused and keep positive. He suggested we try a cycle of IVF (this would be my 3rd) my previous attempts had failed and in the last round none of my eggs fertilized, so we were really nervous. We still went ahead with IVF and even with a very low AMH level I produced 19 eggs! All grade A’s. Out of which 13 fertilized, we were amazed. After a 5 day transfer we achieved our very first pregnancy!! Unfortunately, at approx. 7 weeks I miscarried, however, the fact that I achieved a pregnancy was so uplifting and is now keeping me hopeful to try again with our frozen embryos. I wanted to explain all of this in detail as it’s all thanks to Dr. Glassner and all the staff nurses and receptionists at both Paoli & Bryn Mawr, they are absolutely awesome and each hospital visit is a comfortable one, they talk to you and care about you, in particular Margi who is super lovely. “There are not enough words to express how amazing Dr. Glassner, all of the nurses and administrative staff are at Main Line Fertility. I have never felt more comfortable, accepted, loved and encouraged in my life. Infertility is such an emotional rollercoaster to travel and if you do not have the right doctor, you will not succeed, but with Main Line Fertility, everyone is perfect. Everyone is always helpful and will always answer any question you have. In the time I have been seeing Dr. Glassner I have never been able to come up with one complaint, even the wait time is incredible. I have never waited more than 15 minutes, even on a holiday. Everything about this practice is perfection. Dr. Glassner is wonderful! He will do everything in his power to get you pregnant and if you are not comfortable with something, he will explain it further or move on to another option. He is caring, generous and his heart is in the right place to get each and every one of his patients the wonderful gift of a child! His bedside manner is fabulous! He makes you laugh, when you are sad and about to shed tears. He always finds a way to help! Dr. Glassner is not your normal, everyday, dry doctor that sees you for two seconds and leaves the room. I could not have asked for a more incredible doctor. The nurses…to sum it up into one word…WOW! I have been hugged so many times and respected every time I have been to all three offices. Every one of the nurses are caring and supportive. They always take the time to answer any question about medicine, follicles, etc. One in particular stood out to me every time, Margi, I love her. She is the best nurse I have ever dealt with in my life. She is the most caring nurse and will do anything for you and will listen every time you are upset or frustrated no matter what. Even the IVF team is perfect! They are like family and care so much about every one of their patients. I always have way too many questions and it did not matter every time I came in with my list. They spent every minute they needed to with you. They make you feel comfortable and make sure you understand every step of the IVF process. The IVF office is in Bryn Mawr and it is incredible. I was amazed and could have not asked for a better environment. The ultrasound team is also very helpful, in that no matter how many times you ask, “how many follicles do I have or what size are they,” they always take the time to answer your questions. They all just truly do care and want everyone to get their baby! Even the administrative team is considerate. They always spend the necessary time to answer all of your questions. Even when you leave the doctor and there are always questions you realize you meant to ask, they will always find the answer for you. They pay special attention to help each and every patient, no matter how much time it takes. Main Line Fertility is the best! Dr. Glassner is foremost the greatest doctor you will ever have and we are all lucky that he practices! Fertility needs the leading doctors and they have the best one…Dr. Glassner! “After conceiving my first child so quickly, and even a second quick conception that I miscarried, I never imagined I would face secondary infertility. The experience was physically and emotionally taxing, especially when people who know nothing about the experience assume that your inability to conceive again is due to stress, or any other false, ignorant- but well meaning- assumption. “We saw Dr. Glassner for a year and a half.. He had an excellent approach through the whole journey. He used scientific testing & his medical knowledge; but he LISTENED intently to my explanation of my whacky menstrual cycle. NO OTHER doctor had EVER done that. Dr. Glassner & his staff approached our fertility treatments and condition with sensitivity to us as married people; our morals; & financial efficiency. They listened to our concerns; gave us our options; & let us decide what was right for us. I can’t thank the staff enough for their personal encouragement when my veins became calloused; I got frustrated; & it all just got a tad bit harder. They were all great. We had 1 miscarriage & ultimately conceived triplets via IVF. 1 of our triplets had an issue w/ the placenta & was ultimately lost, but Dr. Glassner referred us to appropriate specialists & stuck w/ us as moral support through the miscarriage & loss of the triplet. “My husband and I will be eternally grateful to Dr. Glassner and the wonderful IVF nurses at Mainline Fertility! We have unexplained infertility, and decided to start IVF in April 2012. “My husband and I are so grateful to Dr. Orris, the nurses at the West Chester and Paoli offices and the IVF team in Bryn Mawr. After trying to get pregnant for over a year, we sought out Dr. Orris who was able to quickly diagnose and correct two birth defects in my uterus and cervix. When we did not get pregnant after the surgeries, Dr. Orris suggested that we enroll in one of the IVF studies. Although I wasn’t sure that I could handle everything that comes with IVF, I trusted Dr. Orris when he told me this would be the fastest and most cost-effective way for us to get a baby. I’m thrilled to say that he was 100% right. The first round of IVF worked, and I am now beginning my second trimester! ng unsuccessfully to have a second child (and after 2 miscarriages) my husband and I decided that [our previous] fertility was not working for us. They had no answers nor did they suggest any other options other than IVF. Never once did they do any tests nor blood work on me. After our initial meeting with Dr. Glassner I underwent more tests and blood work than I thought possible. With only a 15% chance of pregnancy with 100mg of clomid (my lady time of being able to take it) I discovered that I was pregnant! I was only a patient of Dr. Glassner’s for 1 and a half months! We now have a beautiful 2 and a 1/2 year old daughter! We know we would not have her if it wasn’t for him. I also have numerous friends who have gone to him and now have beautiful children as well!”
“Matthew will turn 15 this February 8th! Unbelievable to think it’s been that long. I had Hodgkin’s lymphoma and needed chemo in 1995. Oncologist recommended sperm banking prior to chemo. A few years later, we decided to try, did a few cycles of artificial insemination that didn’t work. Switched to IVF and Carol got pregnant on the first try, although it wasn’t totally uneventful. On the egg retrieval, Carol had trouble waking up from being under, and they did an emergency page, filled the room with doctors and crash paddles in seconds. Very scary when you’re trying to create a life….but it all turned out perfectly. We still have the silver spoon.. Thank you Dr. Glassner!”
“Thanks to Dr. Glassner and the Almighty above, my husband and I have a 4 month old happy and healthy baby girl after 8 years of infertility. We tried everything: acupuncture, dietary changes,and speaking with a variety of reproductive endocrinologists. The REs we spoke with were so clinical and impersonal which was the last thing we needed given the emotional turmoil of infertility. Finally, after years of searching, we received a referral to Dr. Glassner. It was worth the hassle of having an out of state RE given how caring, compassionate, kind, and professional Dr. Glassner is. I remember our fist consultation. He reassured us that he would do everything we could and Hashem (GOD) would do the rest. The first treatment involved 3 embryos being implanted. None of them took. I remember speaking with Dr. Glassner and he reassured me that it was not my fault. The second treatment also met with failure. One of the nurses I called was so sympathetic. She encouraged me saying, “Persistence pays off.” Indeed persistence did pay off as the third try with one remaining frozen embryo yielded success. The last transfer I remember feeling so relaxed. Dr. Glassner explained everything he was doing and told me I did very well. 9 days later I took a pregnancy test and saw two faint lines. After I called the IVF nurse she was very cautious and encouraged me to wait a few days more. Finally the 2 week wait was over, and we had the desired HCG levels! “My wife and I had been trying to get pregnant on our own unsuccessfully -causing us much heartache. Our path, however, brought us to Dr. Glassner’s door. After losing a tube in 2008 to Ectopic Pregnancy, and have been trying to get pregnant for three years and was unable. “I was a patient of another fertility clinic and doctors there were not too optimistic due to combination of my advanced maternal age and my partner’s advanced age. I got a “some people just do not work “together” explanation of a failed IVF/ICSI round with fertilization rate of barely 27% (27% “survivals” were graded poorly – B- and C). A friend of mine who was undergoing unsuccessful infertility treatment at the same clinic, performed an in depth online research and went to see Dr. Glassner. She had a diagnosis in 10 days and child (daughter) in 9 months. I went through 2 rounds of IVF with Dr. Glassner – first round did not work and Dr. Glassner modified methodology/protocol before we repeated the treatment (second embryo transfer was performed by Dr. Orris on 8/5/2012). “I have been meaning to write this email for a while now. I just want to thank you, from the bottom of my heart for all of your work with the egg freezing program and all of your help along the way answering my questions. From what I understand there probably would be no egg freezing program if it wasn’t for your work. And that means I probably would not have a daughter right now, and my family would be a lot different. We had retrieved 15 eggs, ICSI’d 5 and frozen 9. I was 38 at the time of retrieval and knew my chances were not that great but thought we would give it one last try. The first fresh cycle failed. We defrosted 5 eggs and ICSI’d them and it worked, I got pregnant with a girl. We already had a boy from over a years worth of consecutive cycles of Clomid and injectibles with IUI. “As anyone reading this will know, infertility is an emotional roller coaster that can leave you feeling beyond frustrated. My doctor and the nurses at MLF made this journey so much easier. From the moment we met him, he made us feel comfortable. He is compassionate, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable. “My husband and I went thru a Blighted Ovum in August 2009. The pregnancy alone was a surprise and when we lost it we wanted a baby more and more. We tried for a good year and never was lucky enough to get a positive pregnancy test. Thru the heartache of wondering if we were ever going to be able to have a baby of our own we turned to Main Line Fertility. Since my confidence was already low to begin with from our loss I was somewhat confident this would work for us. “Words cannot even BEGIN to express how grateful and blessed we are that you came into our lives. After surgery and discovering I had Stage IV Endometriosis, my OBGYN recommended that we immediately contact you to get pregnant as quickly as possible. After meeting with the doctor, he determined that because of my endometriosis and my age (39) we immediately go to IVF vs. trying other methods first. On our second IVF cycle we became pregnant with our daughter, now 2. I remember being almost immediately aware that something was different after my implantation and then finding out two weeks later that I was indeed pregnant was just the most emotional feeling of joy ever! After she was born, we decided to move quickly to become pregnant again – since it had been emphasized to us that because the surgery had “cleared up the endometriosis”, it was only a matter of time before it would return. “MLF treated me back in 1985. My husband and I had our two boys and were happy with that. I had my tubes tied and burned from my OBGYN thinking I didn’t want any more children. Seven years later which was in 1984, MLF was recommended to us because we decided we wanted to try and have another child. Knowing my tubes were totally ruined, I didn’t think I had a chance but I thought I would give it a try. I met with the doctors of MLF, what a wonderful, caring group they are. After all the testing and the surgery which was 5 hours long, the doctor told me I had about a 25-30 percent chance of the surgery working. He called us a few days later and told us he believed the surgery went as well as expected. August of 1985 I found myself pregnant. Not only did the operation work very successfully, but after having two boys already, I found myself pregnant with a little girl. The operation was so successful, not only did I give birth to my miracle daughter in May of 1986, but I found myself pregnant once again in 1991 and gave birth to another baby girl in January of 1992. “At age 38, with years of trying for a baby behind me. MLF was recommended to me by a family member who said the following, “You must goes see this doctor. Everyone who goes to him gets pregnant.” That was all my husband and I needed to hear. What my family member didn’t mention was MLF’s kindness, sense of humor, sensitivity, his ability of making you feel as if you are the only one. He made my husband feel like a rockstar and gave me a ton of hope, balanced with a hefty dose of realism that showed me he was the real thing.
